PRICES
Prices Days are charged as follows:

· Bird days between 100 - 149 birds: £24.00 + VAT per bird;
· Bird days between 150 - 274: £25.00 + VAT per bird; and
· Days exceeding 275 birds: £24.00 + VAT per bird.

In each case, to obtain the cost per Gun, the relevant rate is multiplied by the number of birds shot and divided by the number of Guns shooting. On Shared Let days and Syndicate days nine Guns will shoot. On corporate or private days the customer may determine the number of Guns up to ten. The Gamekeeper will maintain a record of birds shot during the day. Catering and beverages as advised at the time of booking are included in this price. Subject to weather, light, safety reasons and prior agreement, days generally comprise seven drives. We will always aim to provide the number of birds stated for the day at the time of booking ("the Stipulated Bag"). However, from time to time the bag may exceed or be less than the Stipulated Bag. In these circumstances the following terms will apply:

1. There will be no price adjustment, either an increase or a reduction, if the bag is + or - 10% of the Stipulated Bag e.g. if the day is sold as a 200 bird day, customers will be charged for 200 birds if the actual amount is between 180 birds (10% less) or 220 (10% more).

2. If the bag varies by more than 10% of the stipulated amount, either less or more, then there will be a price adjustment based on the number of birds above or below the 10% margin referred to above e.g. - If a 200 bird day was booked and a total of 240 birds were shot, then the customer would be charged for 20 birds only as 200 + 10% = 220 (which is included in the above band of variance) and 240 - 220 = 20 birds. - Conversely, if a 200 bird day was booked and the total birds shot was 160, then the customer would be entitled to a discount of 20 birds as 200 - 10% = 180 and 180 - 160 = 20 birds.

3. Where a customer books a day with a Stipulated Bag between two numbers e.g. a 180-200 bird day. The band of variance will be calculated from the mid point. In this example, 190.

4. Notwithstanding the above, where a day's shooting fails to achieve the Stipulated Bag and the ratio of shots fired to birds killed was 3.5:1 or greater, then we reserve the right not to give any reduction to the price of the Stipulated Bag. For example, if it was a 200 bird day, and the party fired anything over 700 shots, we would still charge for 200 birds.

For catering purposes, Guns are required to notify Milburn Game & Shooting not less than seven days in advance if they wish to bring any non-shooting guests with them. Any special dietary requirements for either Guns or guests should be notified at the same time. Catering, on the same basis as that supplied to the Guns, for up to four non-shooting guests per team of Guns is included in the above bird price. Catering for any additional non-shooting guests (over and above four) is £20 including VAT each for fully catered days payable on the day of shooting.

In order to maximise daylight hours, Milburn Game & Shooting operate a timetable whereby lunch is served at around 12.30pm and a snack provided at the end of shooting until the end of British Summer Time in the autumn. Thereafter, a hot snack is provided around 12.30pm with lunch being served at the end of shooting, typically around 3.00pm - 3.30pm. Should any party booking an entire complement of Guns for a day require alternative arrangements, please discuss these with us at the time of booking.

Each Gun will be offered one brace of birds at the completion of shooting at no charge. Further birds may be purchased at a price to be agreed with Milburn Game & Shooting. Payment for any additional birds is due on the day of shooting.

Prices for corporate events may vary dependant upon catering and any additional services required.

Prices for collections to and/or from Norwich airport or the train stations at Norwich or King's Lynn will be provided upon request.
DEPOSITS
When the booking is made after that date, the deposit is due on the day of the booking. A deposit for shared and full let days is 50% of the anticipated cost per Gun or complete day (excluding VAT) due on 20th March 2011, or when the Gun is booked after that date, on the day of the booking. The balance (50%) excluding VAT is due on or before 20th August 2011. The final balance ( VAT only) is due to be paid on the day of the shoot.  All cheques should be made payable to Milburn Game & Shooting and sent to Hardley Hall, Hardley, Norwich, Norfolk NR14 6BU. Should you wish to make payment by Bank Transfer, please contact us to request details.
CANCELLATION AND NON-ATTENDANCE POLICY
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. On notification of a cancellation, we will try to re-sell your day. Your deposit will only be refunded if we are able to do this and in these circumstances a £35 + VAT administration fee per Gun will be deducted. If you fail to attend the Shoot Day for any reason, you will remain liable for the cost of your place (less the deposit paid), which must be paid within seven days of being notified of the amount due. No deductions will be made if you are late arriving and therefore miss any drives. Milburn Game & Shooting reserve the right to cancel any day’s shooting for any reason by giving not less than ten days prior notice. In the event of such cancellation, all deposits paid will be refunded but Milburn Game & Shooting will not be liable for any other direct or indirect losses suffered by the Guns or booking party for such cancellation.
INSURANCE
Public liability insurance to the value of at least £5,000,000 must be taken out to cover each Gun shooting at all Milburn Game & Shooting venues. Proof of cover may be requested prior to the commencement of the day. Failure to produce such proof will result in the cancellation of the day’s shooting or the non-participation of any Gun unable to provide evidence of the required insurance cover. If this occurs and the entire day is cancelled, the full cost of the anticipated bag will be payable (less deposit) and no refunds will be made.

Shoot cancellation insurance is the responsibility of the individual Gun or person booking on behalf of a number of Guns. Shooting will be cancelled if adverse weather means birds cannot be presented, shot and retrieved safely and in a sporting manner. The number or location of drives may be altered if required for safety reasons due to adverse weather conditions. No refunds will be made in these circumstances. The decision to cancel or alter shooting arrangements will be made by the Milburn Game & Shooting Shoot Captain. His decision will be final.

Guns should also ensure that you have personal insurance cover for their guns and equipment while away from home and participating in the Shoot. Milburn Game & Shooting cannot be responsible for any loss or damage whilst you are with us. Security of shotguns and ammunition is entirely the responsibility of the Gun.
GUN PERMITS
You must ensure that you hold all necessary certificates, permits and licences for the keeping and use of firearms and comply with the relevant firearms law. You must always have the appropriate certificates/licences for your firearms with you when shooting at all Milburn Game & Shooting venues. Proof of compliance may be requested prior to the commencement of the day and failure to produce the appropriate certificates/licences will result in the non-participation of any Gun unable to provide such evidence. If this occurs the full cost of Gun’s share of the bag will be payable (less deposit) and no refunds will be made.

provisions regarding deer stalking only

Customers of 18 years of age and over who wish to stalk on the Quidenham Estate can do so even if they do not have a Firearms Certificate, provided they use the Estate rifle supplied by us and they are accompanied by a Milburn Game & Shooting appointed representative.

Customers having a Firearms Certificate should be aware that not all Certificates will permit them to use their own rifle whilst stalking on the Quidenham Estate. The following is a summary of the position:

— A Certificate which allows target shooting only is not sufficient to permit customers to use their own rifle on the Quidenham Estate. However, stalking is permitted for those of 18 and over if they use the Estate rifle and are accompanied by a Milburn Game & Shooting representative.
— A Certificate allowing the shooting of deer and foxes on specific identified land is also not sufficient to permit customers to use their own rifle on the Estate. However, stalking is again possible for those aged 18 years and over if they use the Estate rifle and are accompanied by one of our appointed representatives.
— A Certificate permitting shooting on any land deemed suitable by a Chief Officer of Police is sufficient to allow the holder to use their own rifle on the Quidenham Estate as it has been surveyed by the Police and deemed appropriate.
— Finally, an "open" license allowing the shooting of foxes and deer on any land is also sufficient for the holder to use their own rifle at the Quidenham Estate.

Failure to comply with the terms and conditions of a Firearms Certificate will result in the cancellation of the stalking and no refund of any deposit paid will be made.
SAFETY AND THE ENVIRONMENT
Safety and care for the environment is paramount. It is condition of your booking that you comply with and ensure you are familiar with the Gun’s Instruction Notes. Unless there are health and safety issues generally or in respect of a particular Gun, or in the case of mechanical breakdown, Guns are required to travel to and from the drives in the vehicle provided by Milburn Game & Shooting. There may from time to time be duck on a drive. Guns are therefore requested to bring a quantity of non-lead shot with them for use if directed by the Keeper.
INEXPERIENCED GUNS
We welcome Guns of all abilities and are always pleased to help new people experience the sport. If you have not shot before on a driven day or have only done so a few times, we will pair you with an experienced Gun who can give you guidance and tips throughout the day. The cost of this is £35 + VAT per Gun per day. Novice Guns are required to advise us on booking that they are novices so we can arrange for a suitable "buddy" to be available on the day. New Guns should look out for the various special days we have during the season for them. These include: Novice Day, Parent & Child Day and Ladies Day. For further details, please click here to visit the Shoot Schedule.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
All Milburn Game & Shooting venues are happy to accommodate Guns with mobility issues and can arrange for additional transport and assistance to reach the Pegs. Please try to notify us no less than seven days in advance so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
DOGS
Subject to giving no less than seven days prior notice to Milburn Game & Shooting as to the number and type of dog/s, Guns may bring their own dogs to the Shoot. Guns must be entirely responsible for the care and control of their animals and they are brought at the owner’s risk.
