What A Great Parent & Child Day...
Our annual Parent & Child Day was held on Saturday, 29th October, and what a day it was! There were ten Guns: five parents and five sons. We provided five stuffers to give help and guidance to each of the sons. Of the five guns, three had shot game a few times, but two had never before shot a game bird.

On the first drive, all five lads got some great shooting. The two absolute novices both hit their first birds and one got a left and a right! Both novices had the traditional blood on their faces ritual (see photo).

One of the lads actually had two left and rights on the second drive! Overall the team had 830 shots for 127 birds. Some quotes from the day: "A wonderful morning, Philip. Thank you very much." "Alex and I had a fantastic morning - plenty of birds between all of us."

We finished with a terrific duck drive which rounded the day off quite nicely for everyone.
