Game Fair Success
We had a fantastic response at the East Anglian Game Fair this year. For example, from about 11.30 Sunday morning to around 4pm we were simply swamped! This is the third year we have been at this Game Fair and we have been in the same spot each year so I do believe that lots of our regular guns just see a visit to our stand as part of going to the show! Our days are selling fast anyway, but we took scores of really good quality leads from guns of all types and pockets. Overall a really great couple of days. It was good fun to see so many friends as well as new faces - although I must admit that by the time Sunday night came, I was ready for bed. Our stand was manned by Trevor Meen and his partner Sheila, who both helped tremendously. Linda was there with our youngest daughter Izzy, and Head Keeper at Hargham Robert Brown was there alongside his wife Lisa. Thank you very much all of you who took time out to come and see us!
Recent outings at Quidenham Estate
We have had stalkers out all over the last month after Roe bucks and Muntjac.
We have seen some really interesting specimens this April.

Over the last 12 months we have had people from all over the world coming to our estates, including USA, Denmark, Holland, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, and Lithuania. Most seem to find out about us via our website.

Roe Bucks
The roe bucks will be rutting in the last two weeks of July and the beginning of August making it a really exciting time to hunt. Red Stags
We are anticipating some good red stags coming onto the Estate in September and October. New Style High Seats
Most of you are familiar with our large, strong purpose built double seat fixed wooden high seats. These are fixed at strategic places all round our shoots.
However, sometimes it is useful to have a more portable high seat, so we can move to places where there are more Deer. The first seat is about to be purchased and if it works we will add more.
Don't forget, you can use a high seat for the whole of your stalk, do a combination of high seat and stalking or if you prefer, spend the whole of your session stalking . |
