Here We Are, Nearly At The End Of Yet Another Season!!

However, It's Going To Be All Change For Next Year...
Looking to the future, we have many plans to help make our shooting even more exciting and memorable than in previous years. With this in mind we have decided it is time to bid a fond farewell to both our Great Hockham and Narford Hall venues at the end of their leases in February ‘12.

As I hope you will appreciate, the work involved in the running of a commercial shoot is huge, lasting 12 months of the year and, after three seasons of operating five shoots, I have realised that despite my best efforts, my persistent back problems mean my health is simply not up to the job. It is vital I reduce my workload in order not to continue to worsen the situation and hopefully make a recovery. Similarly, the time burden placed on myself and Linda is currently excessive and unsustainable and we need to cut back on commitments in order to better balance our work and home life.

I have enjoyed some cracking days at both Great Hockham and Narford and it is with some sadness that I make this announcement but I hope you will understand the reasons behind it. To all of those who have helped at Narford and Great Hockham over the years, from Keeper to Beater and everyone else too, a hearty thank you for your efforts.

Reducing the shoot numbers will mean we are able to really focus on the remaining shoot venues going forward. These shoots consistently deliver some truly exceptional days and still have further scope for development. You can rest assured that together with Head Keeper, Robert Brown, we will be offering some excellent shooting in the ‘12/’13 season and we very much look forward to welcoming you there to enjoy it.
