We’re eagerly awaiting the start of what we are sure will be our best ever season across all three venues and very much look forward to welcoming you for some excellent shooting during the coming months.
 

WOODCOCK

Subject to their arrival in sufficient amounts, we will be offering woodcock shooting from mid-December onwards. If you are interested in joining a woodcock shoot (either driven or walked up), please click here to register your details for the Woodcock Club. Members will be advised of dates once the birds have arrived. Driven days are charged at £24 + VAT per bird and are offered as a mixed bird day including woodcock and walked up days are charged at £600 + VAT per day for up to five Guns.

SOMETHING DIFFERENT?

Fancy Scotland?

A luxury three day package for a group of 4-6 guns to Scotland staying at the Meldrum House Country Hotel at a great price of £2,750 per Gun. Trip includes a wildfowling day, white hare and grouse day and a walked up day. Included in the price is four nights dinner, bed and breakfast hotel accommodation, hamper lunch each day plus airport and shoot transfers.

Or after the Grouse?

We have two Guns available on 28 August in Northumberland - £125 a brace + VAT for a group of nine Guns to include lunch and tea. The anticipated bag is 30 - 60 brace. A reasonably priced (if there is such a thing with grouse shooting!) day.

RED STAGS

For those with an interest in stalking, you might like to know we’re anticipating some good red stags coming onto the Quidenham Estate from late September into October. If you are interested in one of these rare creatures, contact us to book now. Dates are offered on a first come, first served basis and demand will be high so early booking is recommended.

SHOOTING OPTIONS AVAILABLE

Milburn Game & Shooting has strived to create an exciting programme of shooting as diverse as our customer base. As that clock ticks slowly towards 1 September, you might want to consider some of the following options we have available:

Full or Half Gun Syndicate Membership in the Narford Hall Syndicate (Tuesdays) or the Quidenham & Hargham Estates Shoot Friday Syndicate – the most cost effective way to enjoy good shooting.

300 Bird Premier Shared Let Day for nine Guns - Quidenham & Hargham Estates Shoot. Monday 20 December 2010, single or double gun, premier catering and wines: only £800 including VAT per peg. Five pegs left.

Back to Back Days - book 2 x 200 bird back to back days at the same or a combination of our Estates and enjoy 450 birds over the two days for the price of 400.

On the following days we are pleased to announce we will be joined by Philip Webster. Philip is a highly recommended gunsmith and tutor and he will be on hand to offer, at no cost, advice and guidance to help improve your shooting.

Parent and Child Day - Saturday 16 October - Quidenham & Hargham Estates Shoot - eight Guns - Fully catered - 150 birds - £24 + VAT per bird (minimum charge 150 birds). Four pegs left.

Ladies Day - Tuesday 19 October - Quidenham & Hargham Estates Shoot. Fully catered - 120-150 bird day - £395 including VAT per peg for nine ladies. Four pegs left.

Novice Day – Saturday 20 November - Quidenham & Hargham Estates Shoot Banham - 100-140 birds - £352.50 per peg including VAT for nine Guns including a light lunch. Six pegs left.

All dates are offered on a first come, first served basis.

CLA GAME FAIR

We enjoyed a terrific weekend at the CLA Game Fair in late July. A special thanks to all of our customers and friends who visited us and thank you also to those new faces who took the time to stop by and chat about what our Estates can offer. We were very grateful to have had the chance to talk to you.
