Field Trials

Milburn Game & Shooting is very pleased to offer its venues for Field Trials to test the ability of working dogs in a competitive environment from 1 October each year. Trials for HPR dogs and labradors can be held at any of our three shoots whereas trials for spaniels are best suited to the terrain at Narford Hall. Organisers of Field Trials are required to provide their own Guns for the event. Availability for Field Trials is limited so early booking is always advised.


Field Trials are offered at a fixed price of £550 + VAT per day. This is a fixed charge regardless of the actual number of birds shot on the day. The price includes tea or coffee on arrival and use of a warm and dry lunch hut for the group to eat their own picnic lunches in.





If required, we can provide a number of great catering options:
• A hearty full English breakfast on arrival along with tea or coffee for an additional £5 + VAT per person;
• For groups wanting a full English breakfast plus a traditional hot two course lunch, this can be supplied at a total cost of £12 + VAT per person. Lunches will include a main course such as say cottage pie plus a dessert;
• Alternatively, if the group prefers just tea or coffee in the morning, a hot two course lunch will be an extra £7 + VAT each.

Please note, all hot meals are subject to a minimum order of at least 6 persons.
